The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team took sixth in the Bellarmine University Intercollegiate at Persimmon Ridge Golf Course. The Screaming Eagles shot 490 as a team over a round-and-a-half of golf.
Division I Oakland University won the tournament with a 447.
USI was led by juniorÂ
Craig Toler (Mowcaqua, IL), who placed 19th with a 118 (79-39). SeniorÂ
Nathan Wolfe (Henderson, Kentucky) and freshmanÂ
Jason Pinkstaff (Huntingburg, Indiana) followed Toler, tying for 30th with a
round-and-a-half 123. Wolfe shot 83-40, while Pinkstaff shot 80-43.
Next up for the Eagles will be the Indianapolis Invitational Tuesday, April 6. The invitational was originally scheduled for the fall season, but was postponed due to weather.
