HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY– The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team suffered a heartbreaking 7-0 loss to Northern Kentucky University Friday evening in Highland Heights, Kentucky. USI falls to 3-8-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the GLVC, while NKU goes to 6-3-0 overall, 4-1-0 GLVC.
NKU struck for two goals in the first half and five in the second half for the victory.
The Eagles will finish the two-game road swing at Bellarmine University Sunday at 1:30 p.m. (CT). USI returns to Strassweg Field for its final two home matches when it hosts Saint Joseph's College October 8 and the University of Indianapolis for Senior Day October 10.
