The University of Southern Indiana men's basketball team had five players score in double digits for the third straight time in the 95-64 victory over Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Thursday night at the Physical Activities Center. USI raises its record to 14-4 overall and 9-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while SIUE goes to 7-11 overall, 3-8 GLVC.
The Eagles have won 23 straight at the PAC, a streak that ranks second nationally in the NCAA Division II.
USI junior forward/center
Billy Harris (Carbondale, Illinois) led all scorers with a game-high 20 points and 13 rebounds. The double-double was the third of the year for Harris.
Harris was followed in the scoring column by junior guard
Mike Arnold (Evansville, Indiana) with 15 points, while junior forward
Dennis Coutee (Jeffersonville, Indiana) posted 15 points. USI's double figure scorers were rounded out by the 12 point performances of senior guard
David Ragland (Evansville, Indiana) and junior forward
Clarence Chillers (Chicago, Illinois).

Alan Goff (Terre Haute, Indiana) tied a USI single-game record with eight steals Thursday evening. He tied
Stan Gouard, who had eight twice, and Scott Boyden.
The next action for the Eagles will be when Quincy University comes to the PAC for USI's Homecoming Saturday, February 1. Game time Saturday is 1 p.m.
