The University of Southern Indiana baseball team's string of luck continued at Oakland City University on Thursday, falling to 4-3. USI, which has lost its last six, falls to 14-21, while OCU, who has won six straight against GLVC teams, goes to 12-12.
The Eagles, who used a collection of pitchers on Thursday, fell behind in the third as the Mighty Oaks scored three times to take a 3-0 lead. OCU extended the lead to 4-0 with a run in the fifth.

Steve Owen (Wauwatosa, Wisconsin) had the big bat in the innings, driving in two runs with a bases-loaded single.
Great Lakes Valley Conference action will resume for the Eagles on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, at Northern Kentucky University. The Eagles and the Norse are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday, followed by a single game on Sunday. The first pitch, both days, will be thrown at 11 a.m. (CT).
