The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team fell to the University of Missouri-St. Louis, 1-0, Sunday afternoon at Strassweg Field. USI falls to 3-10-0 overall, 1-6-0 GLVC, while UMSL goes to 10-3-0, 5-1-0 GLVC. The Riverwomen scored 75:02 into the match off the foot of junior forward Lindsey Siemens.
The Eagles outshoot UMSL 13-8, making the Riverwomen make six goalie saves and a team save.
The Screaming Eagles will have a full week to bounce back before traveling to Owensboro, Kentucky, to resume GLVC action against Kentucky Wesleyan College. The Eagles will begin its final homestand of the regular season when they host Bellarmine University Friday, October 19, and Northern Kentucky University on Sunday, October 21.
