University of Southern Indiana Athletics

Jackie Jania joined the USI Athletics staff and academic support team in 2025. She helps serve as the liaison between Athletics, each of USI's four colleges, the USI Center for Exploring Major advising centers, and the USI Registrar.

Jania joined USI after spending the last two years (2023-25) at the University of Evansville as an academic advisor and leading the campus academic coaching program; assisting with registration, advising, and orientation periods. She began her tenure at Evansville as a graduate assistant in June 2023. 

Prior to her work at Evansville, Jania was a Youth Development Specialist for the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago Northwest Indiana chapter in 2023 and an academic graduate assistant at Abilene Christian University (June 2022-March 2023).  

Jania earned her bachelor's degree from Marian University in sociology and public health in 2022 and a master's degree in leadership from  Evansville in 2025.
