Shelbi Morris '18 begins her first year as a student assistant coach for USI Volleyball in 2018. Morris will assist Head Coach Leah Mercer in all aspects of the USI Volleyball program.
A four-year member of the Screaming Eagles as an undergraduate, Morris nearly 500 kills and more than 500 digs during her collegiate career at USI, despite injury derailing part of her junior year and her entire senior season.
An Academic All-GLVC honoree, Morris racked up 321 kills and 285 digs during her sophomore year in 2015. She also earned GLVC Offensive Player of the Week accolades in 2015.
Morris, a native of Brazil, Indiana, earned her bachelor's degree in accounting and professional services from USI in the spring of 2018. She is currently working on her master's degree in business administration.
