Luke Keller enters his second season as a student-assistant coach for the University of Southern Indiana men's and women's track and field teams. Keller will assist Head Coach Mike Hillyard with the throwing and multi-events.

USI's all-time leader in the shot put, Keller competed for the Screaming Eagles in 2004 and 2005, setting school records in both indoor and outdoor. Keller finished eighth in the shot put at the GLVC Outdoor Championships as a freshman in 2004 after recording a school-record throw of 45 feet, 9.00 inches during the indoor season.

A native of Jasper, Indiana, Keller also competed in the discus and the javelin during his two-year career in a USI uniform.

Following his sophomore season at USI, Keller transferred to Hanover College where he played football and competed in track and field. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in physical education at USI.
