Ian Graves '20 begins his third year as an assistant coach with USI Track & Field after a four-year career with the Screaming Eagles that saw him finish 17th in the 100 meters at the GLVC Outdoor Championships in 2019.
Graves competed in more than 60 races for the Eagles throughout his career, posting a top finish of sixth in the 200 meters at the SIUE Gateway Invite as a freshman in 2016.
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, and a high school graduate of Lawrence Central, Graves earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in mathematics from USI in May of 2020 and is currently working on his master's degree in engineering management.
