Elisabeth Peskin was selected as a Swimming and Diving assistant coach in the inaugural season in 2022-23.
In 2022-23, Peskin helped with the instruction of the inaugural season for USI Swimming & Diving. Peskin helped the team to three dual meet victories with the programs first win coming against Valparaiso. Peskin also played a key role in the teams first Summit League Championships where both teams had strong showings, both placing eighth.
Peskin comes to USI after two seasons as an assistant coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Terre Haute, Indiana). She helped direct Rose-Hulman's men's swimming and diving team to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) championship in 2021 and 2022 as well as the women's swimming and diving team that placed third in the 2022.
Prior to her time at Rose-Hulman, Peskin was a strength and conditioning intern at Indiana State University as well as a swim camp counselor. She also worked with the Summer Break Swim Club in Fishers, Indiana.
The Fishers, Indiana, native started her student athlete experience at Indiana State where she was a part of the swimming team for four years. Peskin received the team Coaches Award for being an outstanding teammate as a junior and was selected as one of 30 Missouri Valley Conference student athletes to receive the State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award.
Peskin graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, and a minor in strength and conditioning, at Indiana State in 2020. She is scheduled to complete her master's degree in May 2022.
