Biography

2012: Named first-team Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-American becoming second USI student athlete to earn first team honors in two consecutive seasons...also named first-team Academic All-Midwest Region...named second-team All-GLVC and second-team NSCAA All-Midwest Region...earned Academic All-GLVC honors and was recognized with a GLVC Council of Presidents Award..led the team in scoring wih 21 points on eight goals and five assists...registered three game-winning goals and assisted one game-winner...tied a career-high with two goals in the win over the University of Missouri-St. Louis...finished her career ranked third all-time in points (68), fourth all-time in goals (23); and fourth all-time in assists (22).

2011: Named first-team Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-American, the first in the history of USI women's soccer program...also named first-team Academic All-Midwest Region, Academic All-GLVC, second-team NSCAA All-Midwest Region, and second-team All-GLVC...led the team with 14 points on five goals and four assists...scored the game-winning goal against Missouri University of Science & Technology...tied a career-high with two assists against Northern Kentucky University.

2010: Named first-team NSCAA All-Midwest Region and first-team All-GLVC...posted 15 points as a sophomore on three goals and a team-high nine assists...scored the game-winning goal in the USI victory against Kentucky Wesleyan...tied a career-high with  two goals against the University of Missouri-St. Louis...dished out a career-best two assists in the wins over Oakland City University and the University of Illinois-Springfield...named Academic All-GLVC.

2009: Named NSCAA third-team All-Region as a freshman...led the team with 18 points on seven goals and four assists...scored the game winning goal in the win over Saint Joseph's College and Missouri University of Science & Technology...scored a season-best two goals against Saint Joseph's and the University of Illinois-Springfield.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in soccer and track at Memorial High School (Evansville, Indiana)...was a first-team All-State selection and the Evansville Player of the Year in 2008..also received NSCAA All-Region honors in 2007 after posting 68 points on 22 goals and 24 assists...led the Tigers in points all four seasons...helped MHS to the 2008 Indiana State Championship, as well as three sectional titles (2005, 2006, 2008), a pair of regional crowns (2006 and 2008), and two semi-state appearances...member of the South squad for the Indiana High School All-Star Game...scored one goal and had two assists in the South's victory. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Michael and Melody Ellsperman...student appointee to the USI Board of Trustees in 2011.
