WG-Ann Sullivan Women's Head Coach

Ann Sullivan

Ann Sullivan was hired as the head coach of the USI Women's Golf team in October 2023. Sullivan is the second coach to lead the Screaming Eagles in the NCAA Division I era.

In 2024-25, Sullivan retooled the roster with six freshmen. The Eagles improved by one place at the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament in seventh place. Sullivan coached the program's first OVC individual award winner in freshman Brianna Kirsch being named to the OVC All-Newcomer Team.

In 2023-24,Sullivan and the Eagles finished eighth at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship after assuming the role of head coach in the middle of the fall season. She helped coach a WGCA All-American Scholar. 

Sullivan comes to USI after a two-year stint as the head coach for Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. During her time with the Tigers, she led her squad to three team runner-up finishes, one individual medalist, and five all-tournament honors. Sullivan also coached the group to two NAIA Scholar Team accolades and had two players recognized by the WGCA for their academic achievements. Before Brenau, Sullivan spent two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Montevallo after two seasons at Milligan College where she was also an assistant.
 
Outside of coaching, Sullivan was a scoring intern for the United States Golf Association in 2018, where she traveled across the nation and scored seven different USGA championship events.
 
Sullivan graduated from Milligan University in 2017 with a degree in Business Administration before earning her master’s in Sport Management from East Tennessee State University in 2019. At Milligan, Sullivan played women’s golf for the Buffaloes where she was named 2014 Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Year and landed first-team accolades twice. Sullivan’s team won two conference regular season championships, three tournament championships, and was a three-time NAIA National Championship participant.

Sullivan is a native of College Grove, Tennessee.
