HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Heritage Hills High School...named All-PAC First Team as a senior...multiple all-conference honorable mention selections...helped high school to winning sectional championships as a freshman and junior...recorded a 2.29 ERA and an 18-9 record in the pitching circle during high school career...struck out 171 batters in 229.2 innings pitched...also batted .336 with 12 home runs and 70 RBIs at the plate while scoring 61 runs...hit .348 with five home runs and 24 RBIs and hurled 94.1 innings with 62 strikeouts as a senior.
