Biography

2026:
  • Named the OVC Freshman of the Year and to the OVC All-Newcomer Team.
  • Started 46 of 47 games played, primarily in left field.
  • Ranked second on the team in batting average (.322), slugging percentage (.397), OPS (.748), runs (31), and hits (47), while ranking first on the squad with 15 stolen bases, which ranked top 10 in the OVC, and three triples.
  • Totaled five doubles and 13 RBIs.
  • Notched a pair of defensive outfield assists.
  • During OVC play, batted .314, scored 20 runs, drove in 10 runs, and swiped nine bases.
  • Tied for a team-best 15 multi-hit games, including three three-hit performances.
  • Logged two multi-RBI games, including two RBIs in USI's win against Tennessee State on March 8 and three RBIs in USI's road win against Western Illinois on March 14.
  • Tied for a team-best seven-game hitting streak between April 2 and April 19.
  • Reached base in 10 consecutive games between March 29 and April 19.

HIGH SCHOOL:
  • Attended Tecumseh High School.
  • Selected as the 2025 All-Southwestern Indiana Player of the Year as a senior after batting .561 on 64 hits with 48 runs, 15 RBIs, 26 stolen bases, and a .598 on-base percentage.
  • Earned an Indiana North/South All-Star Game selection.
  • Was a candidate for Miss Indiana Softball.
  • Broke school single-season record for hits and ended career as the Indiana leader for most career hits.
  • Batted over .400 each season of high school.
  • Named First Team All-PAC each year of high school.
  • Received all-state honors each year, including two first-team selections.
  • Helped team to back-to-back 1A state championships in 2022-23, a state finalist appearance in 2024, and a 2A state championship as a senior in 2025.
  • A recipient of the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award.

TRAVEL TEAM:
  • Player for Fusion Premier-Gibson.

PERSONAL:
  • Daughter of Stephen and Mandy Marx.
  • Has three siblings, Brady, Kelsey, and Brianna, who plays softball at Indiana State University.
