HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from University High School in Normal, Illinois, where she earned first-team All-Area and All-Conference honors...was named third-team All-State by both the Champaign News Gazette and the Illinois Basketball Coaches' Association (I.B.C.A.)...averaged 13.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while recording 52 blocked shots in 28 games for UHS as a senior...scored eight points and pulled down five rebounds in the I.B.C.A. State All-Star game...led UHS to a 24-4 overall record and a 10-0 record in the Corn Belt Conference...UHS won the State Farm Christmas Classic championship and a final AP and UPI State Ranking of third...also earned All-Tournament honors at the State Farm Christmas Classic...awarded the Mental Toughness Extra Effort Award...averaged 12 points and 6.5 rebounds per game as a junior...earned second-team All-Area and All-Conference honors as a junior in 2001-02.
