    Softball Student Assistant Coach
Jennifer Mullikin enters her first season with the USI softball coaching staff after four seasons as a player for Head Coach Sue Kunkle. Mullikin assists with day-to-day duties such as weight training, practice, and monitoring study tables.

Her game day management duties include keeping charts and managing the dugout.
Mullikin was the Screaming Eagles' starting first baseman during the last two seasons. She finished her career ranked third all-time at USI with 816 career putouts, most of which came during her junior and senior campaigns.

As a senior in 2007, Mullikin put together her best season at the plate when she hit .282 with seven doubles, a home run, and 14 RBIs. She hit a career-high three home runs in 2006, including a solo shot against Northern Kentucky University in the NCAA II Great Lakes Region Tournament.

"Jenn will continue to be a big part of our program," Kunkle said. "She worked hard to be the best that she could be as a player and will use that same drive as a coach. Her work ethic earned her the respect of her former teammates and will be a great asset to our program."

A native of Greenwood, Indiana, and a graduate of Center Grove High School, Mullikin is pursuing a degree in physical education at USI.
