Breana Laue is in her first season as a student assistant coach for the USI softball team after a year as the team's manager in 2007. Laue assists with practice, game-day preparation, and various other duties such as statistics and study tables.

Laue has served on the USI stat crews for softball, basketball, and volleyball since her freshman year.

A native of Bicknell, Indiana, Laue graduated from North Knox High School where she competed in cross country, basketball, softball, and track.

Laue earned NKHS's Most Improved Runner award, Most Valuable Runner award, and co-Hustle award in cross country. She also earned the Extra Mile award on the track.

She is pursuing a degree in exercise science at USI.
