HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Althoff Catholic High School in Bellville, Illinois...recorded a 12-1 record with a 1.45 ERA in 82 innings of work...member of the St. Louis Renegades summer team...recorded a 1.87 ERA and 68 strikeouts while allowing nine walks in 113 innings of work in 2001 for the Renegades...helped the Renegades qualify for the 2001 WASA and USSSA Nationals.
