Assistant Coach Brandon Campbell ’11 begins his third season with the University of Southern Indiana cross country/track and field coaching staff after a stellar career with the Screaming Eagles.

Campbell helped lead the Eagles’ cross country team to four consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference titles and four straight NCAA Division II National Championship appearances.

During his senior year in 2009, Campbell helped lead the Eagles to a sixth-place finish at the NCAA II National Championships, their highest placement at the national meet since finishing fifth in 1983. He also helped USI to an eighth-place showing at the NCAA II Championships in 2007.

A five-time All-GLVC honoree on the cross country course and the track, Campbell excelled in the 3,000-meter steeplechase where he won the GLVC title as a junior in 2009.

A native of Portage, Indiana, Campbell graduated from USI with a bachelor’s degree in history in 2011.
