2013-14: Named All-GLVC after posting a 21-10 singles record and a 21-9 doubles record...was 4-2 in GLVC singles action...was 4-5 at number one, 6-2 at number two and 5-1 at number three doubles...combined with five different doubles partners and was 5-1 in GLVC doubles play...finished his USI career tied for sixth in singles wins and ranked eighth in doubles wins. 

2012-13: Helped USI to its first NCAA II regional crown and first appearance in the NCAA II Championships...ranked third on the team in singles with a 20-10 overall mark, 14-6 in dual matches...also had a 25-7 doubles record, combining with Rodrigo Flories to produce a 13-2 record in doubles. 

2011-12: Named All-GLVC...posted a 17-5 singles mark after joining the team in January...was 14-5 at number two and 3-0 at number three...combined with Michael Kuzaj to record a 16-5 doubles marking, going 10-4 at number one, 5-1 at number two, and 1-0 at number three.

TRANSFER: Transferred to USI after playing one season for the University of West Alabama...helped UWA to the NCAA II Tournament and to a 14-9 overall record...was 12-9 in singles and 9-10 in doubles during the 2010-11 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended General Santander in Montenegro, Columbia.

PRIOR TO USI: Played in the Federation Columbian de Tennis (Colombian Tennis Federation)...participated in the Orange Bowl Tournament...won the National Columbian Championship eight times...ranked first in his state and second nationally in Columbia...ranked 13th nationally in doubles.

PERSONAL: Son of Javier Lopez and Liliana Mejia.
