- Competed in all eight meets his freshman season.
- Raced in the 50 breast, 50 fly, 100 breast, 100 fly, 100 IM, 200 breast, and 200 IM throughout the season.
- Top three on the team in the 100 and 200 breast.
HIGH SCHOOL:
- Earned four varsity letters at Harrison High School (Kennesaw, Georgia).
- Broke school records in the 200 medley relay and 100 breast.
- Was a two-time state finalist, finishing as runner-up in the 100 breaststroke his senior year.
