Biography

2025:
  • Made 16 appearances and made three starts.
  • Batted .250  with four runs scored and five RBIs.
  • Had a season-high two RBIs in the win over Eastern Illinois University.
TRANSFER:
  • Transferred to USI from Queens University of Charlotte.
  • Hit .195 in 30 games as a freshman.
  • Also had five doubles and two RBIs.
HIGH SCHOOL: 
  • A two-time All-County and an All-State Honorable Mention recipient in baseball at Center Grove High School (Greenwood, Indiana).
  • Member of the Center Grove 2023 IHSAA Baseball State finalist team.
PERSONAL:
  • Graduated from Vincennes University with an associates degree while in high school.
  • Son of AJ and Nikki Zapp.
  • Father, AJ, played professionally for the Atlanta Braves, Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Cincinnati Reds after being drafted in the first round of the 1996 MLB Draft by the Braves.
