Biography
PRIOR TO USI:
- Spent three years at the University of North Georgia and two years at Stephen F. Austin State University.
- Named the March 2025 Southland Conference Player of the Month after a T-11 finish at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge with a 54-hole score of 211 (69-69-73).
- Registered a 73.5 scoring average during the 2025 spring season.
- Recorded a top-25 finish at the 2024 Husky Intercollegiate after a 54-hole score of 222 (73-72-77).
- Notched another top-25 finish at the 2024 La Tour Intercollegiate with a three-round score of 216 (70-72-74).
HIGH SCHOOL:Â
- Four-time All-Area honoree.
- Three-time Alabama 6A state champion.
- National Junior Honor Society member.
PERSONAL:
- Son of Derrick and Lisa Gargis...father played baseball at Wallace State Community College from 1986-88.
