Greg Charnes became the sixth head coach in the history of the men's golf program in September 2015.
Charnes takes over the USI program after directing the Memorial High School (Evansville, Indiana) boys team (2011-2013) and the director of golf at Oak Meadow Golf Club (1977-2004). In addition to his years with Memorial and at Oak Meadow, Charnes has been the host professional for the University of Evansville men's golf team and has become a Life Member of the PGA of America.
A 1974 graduate from Indiana University, Charnes and his wife, Manina, reside in Evansville.
