Grant Saylor '17 became the USI men's golf head coach effective for the 2019 spring season and resigned during the spring of the 2020-21 campaign. Saylor comes to USI from Reitz Memorial High School, where he was the boys and girls golf head coach for the Tigers.
Saylor is a 2017 graduate from USI with a bachelor of science degree in sport management, and an alum of the Screaming Eagles' men's golf program. As a player, Saylor recorded the second-lowest 54-hole score in school history (214), posted a single-round score of 69 twice, and was a two-time team captain.
In his time as a student at USI, Saylor worked in Player Services at the Victoria National Golf Club, mentoring and educating club members and organizing business outings. Saylor also interned in the athletic department at Castle High School in the 2016-17 school year.
