Biography

2025: Named to All-OVC Second Team and OVC All-Newcomer Team...made 35 starts in 37 games played as a freshman...split time at catcher and third base...batted .284 on 27 hits in 95 at-bats...slugged a team-high .505 toward an .835 OPS...paced the team with nine doubles, four home runs, and 25 RBIs...scored seven runs and walked seven times...helped turn a pair of double plays on defense...during OVC play, batted .317 with an .889 OPS, five doubles, three home runs, and 19 RBIs...hit first career home run against Belmont on February 21...recorded eight multi-hit games, including a three-hit game with four RBIs against Tennessee State on March 14...also tallied four RBIs in first career two-home run game against Morehead State on March 22...collected three RBIs on a pair of hits against Indiana on March 12...ended the season with seven multi-RBI games...recognized as an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete...named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll...OVC Medal of Honor recipient.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Harrison High School in Evansville...was a multi-sport athlete...named the school's athlete of the year in 2022-23...finished her high school career by hitting .517 with 17 RBIs her senior season...also set a school record for career home runs...as a junior, hit .477 with 21 runs, 27 RBIs, 20 extra-base hits with eight home runs, and a 1.645 OPS...the eight home runs were a single-season record at Harrison...top five in the SIAC for batting average, home runs, RBIs, walks, and slugging percentage...was All-Metro and All-SIAC First Team in 2023 and 2024...was All-Metro and All-SIAC Second Team in 2022....ranked 32nd in the class of '24 by Extra Innings.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Kevin and Molly Mackey...has sister, Kylen...mother, Molly (Blackford) '02, played for USI between 1999-2002.
