PREVIOUS SCHOOL
at Bellarmine (2025-26)
• Played in 30 games as a junior, averaging 4.0 points and 1.8 rebounds in 12.5 minutes of playing time for the Knights last season.
• Reached double-figures in the scoring column twice, including a career-high 14 points and six rebounds in the Knight's overtime win over Central Arkansas last January.
at Kent State (2023-25)
• Spent two seasons at Kent State University, where he averaged 1.3 points in 26 games throughout the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.
• Appeared in 10 games in 2024-25, tallying 13 points, four steals, three rebounds and three three-pointers.
• Played in 16 games and made one start in 2023-24, averaging 5.6 minutes per game.
• Recorded a season-high five points against Northern Illinois on February 18, 2024.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
• Played at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio, where Lamelo Ball and Isaiah Jackson played.
• Previously attended Westerville Central High School, just outside of Columbus, where he was a state runner-up as a sophomore in 2021 and averaged double-figures as a junior.

PERSONAL
• Son of Dontay and April Hunter.
• His brother, Dontay Hunter II, played Division I football at Purdue, Ohio and Prairie View A&M.
