Gerad Good begins his sixth season as an assistant men's basketball coach on Coach Watson's staff.
 
Good travelled south from Indiana University-Purdue University Ft. Wayne to join Watson’s staff in the 2009-10 season. He has assisted IPFW Head Coach Dane Fife for seasons, accumulating a 26-35 record.
 
For three seasons, Good was an assistant coach at John A. Logan College (Carterville, Illinois), where he and Watson became closely associated. Good helped the Volunteers to a 74-22 record.
 
Good began his association with collegiate basketball as a player for two seasons at Husson College (Bangor, Maine). He concluded his college hoops career at Manchester College (North Manchester, Indiana), where he played two seasons for Head Coach Steve Alford.
 
After his playing career, Good spent a season as a student assistant coach at Manchester, helping the Spartans to the NCAA Division III Championship game and a 31-1 record. He completed his bachelor’s degree in physical education in 1996.
 
Good and his wife Robin have a son, Miles, and a daughter, Kinsley.
