2016: Three-time Midwest All-Region selection (ABCA, CCA, NCBWA), first-team All-GLVC East Division...named to the NCAA II Midwest Regional All-Tournament team after hitting .421 with two home runs, six RBIs, and seven runs scored...named first-team ABCA Midwest Region Golden Glove outfielder...ranked first on the team with a .352 batting average, ranking second with 49 RBIs and tying for second with 49 runs scored...tied a career-high with four hits in a game twice and drove in a career-high five RBIs against the University of Illinois Springfield...finished his career as USI's all-time leader in hits; total bases; games played and started; and at-bats; while ranking second in doubles; fourth in RBIs; and seven in home runs...named ABCA presesaon All-America and Academic All-GLVC.

2015: Named NCBWA honorable mention All-American; ABCA  and NCBWA first-team All-Midwest Region; and first-team All-GLVC East Division...batted a career-high .395 with 42 RBIs, 45 runs scored, 42 RBIs, and eight home runs...also had a team-high 15 doubles...moved into the USI all-time rankings at seventh in hits; eighth in total bases; 11th in doubles; and 15th in home runs...tied a career-high with four hits against Truman State University and four hits-four RBIs versus the University of Illinois Springfield...also tied a career-high with two home runs against Illinois Springfield...had a team-high 26 multi-hit games and ranked second with 13 multi-RBI contests...ended the season on a 12-game hitting streak...named Player to Watch by Collegiate Baseball .

2014: Named to the first-team ABCA Golden Glove, All-GLVC East Division, and NCAA II Baseball National Finals All-Tournament teams after hitting .342  with a team-high 36 RBIs, 51 runs scored, 21 doubles, two triples, and four home runs in the lead-off position...also had a team-high 23 stolen bases...posted a career-high four hits in the wins over the University of Illinois Springfield and Lewis University and four RBIs against the University of Wisconsin-Parkside...ranked fifth nationally in total hits (91) and sixth in doubles (21)...his fourth home run came in USI's NCAA II national finals victory over Lander University...posted a team-best 32 multi-hit contests and tied for the team lead with seven multi-RBI games...also named Academic All-GLVC.

2013: Started and played in 46 of the team's 48 games...batted .271 with 30 runs scored and 21 RBIs...also had five doubles and two triples...had a season-high three hits against Lewis University and Bellarmine University...drove in a season-best three RBIs against Lake Erie College and Lewis University...tied for fifth on the team with 10 multi-hit games..had three multi-RBI games.

2012:  Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Came to USI after four years at Bosse High School (Evansville, Indiana)...lettered in baseball all four seasons...named honorable mention All-State in 2011...also named first-team All-City, All-Conference, and All-Metro after batting .474 with five home runs, 21 RBIs, and 19 stolen bases as a senior...earned first-team All-City, All-Conference, and All-Metro after hitting a team-best .444 in 2010...played for former USI baseball players Jeremy Jones and Todd Deweese.

SUMMER BASEBALL: Named first-team outfielder and All-Star by the Coastal Plain League after hitting .296 with 25 runs scored, 26 RBIs, 7 doubles, two triples, three home runs and 12 stolen bases...named to the Prospect League Post-Season All-Star Team in 2012 and 2013...finished 2012 by hitting .365 with 12 doubles, two triples, two  home runs, and 44 RBIs in 57 games in 2012 for Terre Haute Rex....the 2013 season is still underway. 

PERSONAL: Son of Neil and Terrie Kempf...graduated from USI with a bachelor's degree in Finance in 2015...brother of former USI and All-GLVC women's soccer player Meagan Kempf.
