Career: In four years with the Eagles, DeWeese did not miss a single game at first base as she played and started in 193 contests...a two-time All-GLVC honoree, DeWeese finished her career ranked third all-time at USI in RBIs (115) and fourth in home runs (19)...also set the all-time school-record with 1,273 putouts and tied for third all-time with 44 career doubles.
2011: Earned second-team All-Midwest Region honors by the NFCA and second-team All-GLVC honors after hitting a career-best .369 with 12 doubles, two home runs, and 27 RBIs...was second on the team in batting average and ninth in the GLVC...also tied for ninth in the GLVC with a team-best 12 doubles...hit two home runs and was third on the team with 27 RBIs...hit .342 with six doubles and 10 RBIs in GLVC-only games...recorded a season-best seven-game hitting streak in March that saw her hit .444 with a home run, four doubles, and eight RBIs...matched that season-best seven-game hitting streak in late-March and early-April when she hit .455 with three doubles and an RBI...tied for the team lead with 13 multi-hit games, including four contests in which she had a season-high three hits...also had six multi-RBI outings, including a season-high four RBIs against Holy Family (Pa.).
2010: Earned second-team All-GLVC honors after leading the Eagles in batting average (.353), hits (49), doubles (11), home runs (7), and RBIs (36)...was named the GLVC Player of the Week after hitting .667 (8-12) with five RBIs, three runs, four doubles, and a home run in USI's GLVC-opening weekend...also had a walk-off, run-scoring single in USI's game-two victory over Missouri S&T to help lift into garnering the weekly honor...hit .393 against the GLVC...had a season-best and team-best 11-game hitting streak early in the season that saw her hit .543 with five doubles, four home runs, and 17 RBIs...also had a six-game hitting streak later in the season that saw her hit .550 with three doubles, two home runs, and five RBIs...led the Eagles with 15 multi-hit games, including three contests with three hits...also led the Eagles with nine multi-RBI outings, with at least four RBIs in two games...had a career-high six RBIs against Saint Cloud State.
2009: Had another strong year for the Eagles, leading the team with a .323 batting average...started all 51 games for USI at first base...had a team-best 12 doubles and was third on the team with four home runs and 24 RBIs...currently is tied for eighth all-time at USI with 10 career home runs...recorded a season-high five-game hitting streak in April in which she hit .588 with four doubles and seven RBIs...ended the season with a two-game hitting streak, including a 3-of-3 performance against Indianapolis in the season-finale...had a team-best 15 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games...hit .348 with nine doubles and 10 RBIs against GLVC opposition...had a solid year in the field, posting a .981 fielding percentage.
2008: Made a major impact on USI's lineup as a freshman, hitting .268 with nine doubles, four triples, six home runs, and 28 RBIs...hit more home runs than any freshman in the history of USI's program (former freshman record (5) held by Rachel Bowling and Lisa Anderson)...had batting average as high as .378 at one point in the season and hovered around the .300 mark for a majority of the year...had nine multi-hit games and six games with at least two RBIs...went 2-for-3 with a season-best four RBIs against West Alabama...tied for second on the team in RBIs...had a season-high 10-game hitting streak in which she hit .483 with two doubles, two triples, three home runs, and 14 RBIs...went 4-for-7 with three runs scored and four RBIs in two games against national runner-up Emporia State.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Memorial High School (Evansville) where she was a first-team All-State performer as a senior...hit .421 with five doubles, two triples, 23 RBIs, and a city-high seven home runs as a senior...finished career at MHS with 15 home runs...was MHS's team-leader in RBIs as a sophomore, junior, and senior...was a three-time first-team All-District, All-City, and All-Metro performer...tied an Indiana state record by belting three consecutive home runs in a single game as a junior in 2006...also earned varsity letters in volleyball.
