HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball at Washington High School (Washington, Indiana)...named All-Big 8 Conference in 2012 and 2013...also earned the WHS Pitching Award in 2012 and 2013...hit .514 as a senior when he was recognized with the 2013 WHS Offensive Production Award and the Batting Average Award...set four WHS season records in 2013 with 116 strikeouts, a 1.16 ERA, and a .161 opponent batting average on the mound and a .514 batting average at the plate.
