2017: Named Academic All-GLVC and received Council of Presidents Academic Excellence award...made two appearances out of the bullpen, but did not have a decision...struck out a season-high two batters in the win over the University of Indianapolis. 

2016: Appeared in three games in relief during his junior season...posted a 1-0 record and a 3.00 ERA...earned his first win out of the bullpen in the victory over Saint Joseph's College...record his first strike out as an Eagle in the win over Oakland City University. 

2015: Redshirted. 

TRANSFER: Transferred to USI from Olney Central College...batted .270 with 22 RBIs, a stolen base, and a home run in 39 games...batted .346 as a freshman with 24 RBIs.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Lettered in baseball and basketball at Union County High School (Morganfield, Kentucky)..was a three-time All-District, two-time All-Region, and 2012 Region Player of the Year...also named first-team All-State in 2012.

PERSONAL: Son of Bobby and Valerie Alvey.
