Biography
2010-11: Named All-GLVC East Division after posting an 18-3 singles record and 19-8 in doubles play...was 11-0 at number three singles
and 6-2 at number four singles...combined with Diego Gimenez and brother, Ben Boesing to post a 4-1 doubles mark in the GLVC.
2009-10: Named All-GLVC after leading the team with a 21-2 overall singles record...the .913 winning percentage broke a USI single-season record...was 20-1 in dual matches, going 19-1 at number three singles...finished the season by 15 straight matches...was 4-0 in the GLVC...combined with Diego Gimenez to win the ITA Midwest Region championship and record a 26-6 overall record...the pair also was 5-0 in the GLVC...had an overall doubles record of 27-6 after posting a doubles win with Juan Quiroz.
2008-09: Let the team with a 7-7 record in singles, 7-6 in dual matches...was 7-5 at number two singles and 0-1 at number one...combined with Diego Gimenez, Bryan Sulcer, and Ricardo Stewart to post a 14-6 doubles record...partnered with Gimenez to go 9-5 at number one doubles and post a season-best five match winning streak.
TRANSFER: Transferred to USI from Indiana University Southeast.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in tennis at Floyd Central High School (Floyds Knobs, Indiana)...was named three-time first team All-State...placed third in the Indiana state tournament in 2004 and was the state finalist in 2006...posted a career high school record of 104-13...helped FCHS to a number one state ranking in 2006 and a third place finish in the state in 2003, 2005, and 2006.
AMATEUR TENNIS: Ranked as high as 17th in the USTA Midwest ranking for boys 18s.
PERSONAL: Born December 15, 1988...son of Joe, Jr., and Donna Boesing.
