Biography

2011: Batted .286 in 16 games with the Eagles...had nine RBIs and seven runs scored...stole four bases...had a season-best three hits and three RBIs against Saint Joseph's College.

TRANSFER: Transferred to USI from Western Oklahoma State College (Altus, Oklahoma)...helped lead WOSC to the NJCAA Division II World Series Semifinals and a 56-7 overall record after hitting .441...also recorded 22 RBIs, 43 runs scored, 15 stolen bases, five home runs, and 10 doubles in 2010.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball at Mastbaum Jules Area Vocational Technical School.

PERSONAL: Born July 8, 1988...son of Venaniso Garcia and Sheyla Otomez.
