Biography

2011: Pitched in 12 games for the Eagles out of the bullpen as a senior...had an 0-2 record and a 4.50 ERA ...struck out 12 batters, including a season-best five against Quincy University in the GLVC Tournament.  

2010: Appeared in 23 games for the Eagles during his first season...made five appearances in the post-season, throwing nine innings...finished the year with a 1-2 record and a 5.86 ERA...struck out 24 batters in 35.1 innings out of the bullpen...struck out a season-best four batters versus the University of Indianapolis.

TRANSFER: Transferred to USI from Parkland College (Champaign, Illinois)...had a two year record of 4-4 at Parkland (3-0 in 2008 and 1-3 in 2009) and a 4.08 ERA...also had 49 strike outs in 20 innings of work over two seasons.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball and basketball at Herscher High School (Herscher, Illinois).

PERSONAL: Born October 18, 1989...son of Eugene and Beth Walther.
