Biography

2006: Did not play after a knee injury ended her year prior to the season opener.

2005: Earned first-team All-GLVC and All-Great Lakes Region honors to go with Academic All-GLVC honors after leading the Eagles with four homeruns and 30 RBIs...hit .329 with eight doubles, a triple, and 13 runs scored...was second on the team in batting average...tied for sixth in the GLVC in homeruns and was ninth in the conference in slugging percentage (.474)...had 11 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI contests...had three games with three or more hits and two with four hits...had a season-high 13-game hitting streak in which she hit .426 with a homerun, three doubles, a triple, and 13 RBIs...ranks fourth all-time at USI with nine career homeruns and needs just two to move into second.

2004: One of the top freshman in the GLVC in 2004, earning first-team All-GLVC honors and second-team All-Great Lakes Region honors as a designated player...hit .361 with five home runs, nine doubles, and 24 RBIs...ranked fourth in the GLVC in slugging percentage (.557) and on-base percentage (.419)...was named the GLVC "Player of the Week" after hitting .545 with a pair of RBIs and a double in USI's first seven games of the season...was second on the team in batting average and runs batted in...had 10 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games...hit .400 with runners in scoring position...hit a grand slam against St. Joseph's College...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Chesterton High School where she earned four varsity letters in softball, swimming, and volleyball...member of the 2002 and 2003 Duneland Athletic Conference Softball Champions at CHS...was a first-team All-District and All-Duneland Conference in 2002 and 2003...participated in the first Duneland Athletic Conference/Lake Athletic Conference softball game...the DAC won the game 10-0...earned the 2002 Mental Attitude Award at CHS...was voted the most productive hitter at CHS in 2002 and 2003...tallied a school-record 87 career hits from 2001 to 2003...was a Academic Scholar Award winner as a freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Gary and Therese Anderson...sister Jennifer swam for Auburn University.
