Biography

Career: Finished her four years in a USI uniform tied for 12th all-time at USI with seven career home runs.

2011: Led the GLVC with a team-high 17 sacrifice bunts during her senior year...ranked sixth in the nation in sacrifice bunts per game (0.43)...played and started in 40 games, recording a career-high .268 batting average...had a home run and a career-best 16 RBIs in her final collegiate season...was fourth on the team with 10 multi-hit games and had a season-best three hits in four games...also had a pair of multi-RBI games, including a career-high five RBIs against Oakland City...had a season-best four-game hitting streak in March that saw her hit .467 with five RBIs...also had a four-game hitting streak in April that saw her hit .714 with a home runs and seven RBIs.

2010: Played in and started 41 games at shortstop after spending the last two seasons between second and third base...solidified USI's defense at shortstop with a .954 fielding percentage...hit .246 with three home runs, three doubles, and 10 RBI...had a career-high seven-game hitting streak midway through the season that saw her hit .478 with three doubles, a home run, and five RBI...racked up six multi-hit games, including three contests in which she recorded three hits...recorded two RBIs in three contests.

2009: Played in 49 games, making 48 starts between second and third base...became USI's full-time third baseman midway through the season...hit .244 with seven doubles, two home runs, and 13 RBIs...had seven multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games...recorded a pair of four-game hitting streaks, the last of which she hit .462 with a double, a home run, and three RBIs.

2008: Played in 52 of USI's 54 games, making 51 starts between second and third base...primarily played second base for the Eagles during her freshman season...hit .241 with seven doubles, a triple, a home run, and 15 RBIs...had a three-game stretch early in the year in which she went 6-for-11 with three runs scored, three doubles, and five RBIs...put together nine multi-hit games and had four games with multiple RBIs...hit .310 in the final 18 games of the season to raise her season batting average 30 points.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Windsor High School where she earned All-State honors as a senior after helping WHS to the Class 4A state championship...prior to attending Windsor, played at Smoky Hill High School (Aurora, Colorado) where she earned first-team All-Conference honors as a junior and second-team All-Conference honors as a sophomore...helped lead her travel team (Colorado Comets) to an appearance at the 18 Gold ASA National Championships and the 16A ASA National Championships.

PERSONAL: Born December 14, 1988...daughter of Elliott and Terri Finkelstein.
