2012: Earned Academic All-GLVC honors...was one of USI's most clutch hitters in her first season with the Eagles...played in and started 45 of USI's 48 games, finishing fifth on the team with a .289 batting average...hit a team-best .471 with runners in scoring position and had eight two-out RBIs...tied for second on the team with nine doubles and tied for third on the squad with 17 RBIs...also tied for second on the team with six sacrifice bunts...finished the year on a season-high six-game hitting streak...had a hit in 10 of her last 11 games, including two hits in USI's season-finale against Lewis...hit .378 (14-37) with three doubles and three RBIs in the final 11 games...finished second on the team with 12 multi-hit games, including a season-high three hits and three RBIs in USI's 6-5 win over McKendree in February...had three games with at least two RBIs, and two with three RBIs...also drove in three runs in USI's 13-0 victory over Missouri S&T...was solid at second base, recording a .953 fielding percentage in 172 chances...led the Eagles with 88 assists.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Clinton Prairie High School in Frankfort, Indiana, where she earned varsity letters in basketball, softball, and volleyball...was a four-time All-Conference honoree in softball at CPHS as well as an All-Conference performer in volleyball.

TRAVEL: Was a member of the Indiana Shockwaves.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Troy and Karen Werner.
