DiPasquale named OVC Pitcher of the Week

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana junior right-hander Ean DiPasquale has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week in a vote of the league's communication directors. The Pitcher of the Week honor is the first for DiPasquale and the first by a USI hurler since 2024 (Peyton Brown).

DiPasquale won his only start last week on Sunday, throwing a seven-inning complete game in USI's 12-0 victory over Western Illinois University. He allowed four hits and four walks, while striking out three in the seven innings of work.

In 2026, DiPasquale is 2-0 with a 2.77 ERA (tops among the USI starting staff) in 26.0 innings of work. He also has held opposing hitters to a .187 batting average in eight games and four starts this spring.

The Screaming Eagles (15-9, 2-1 OVC) finish their four-game homestand Tuesday at 5 p.m. when they host Ball State University. The Cardinals (12-10) are coming off a series win over Western Michigan. They also have won five of the last seven games.

Ball State leads the all-time series with USI, 5-0, after winning in Muncie, Indiana, last spring, 5-4.
