EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Men's Basketball celebrates Homecoming Week by hosting a pair of Ohio Valley Conference games this week at Liberty Arena to conclude a four-game homestand. USI hosts Lindenwood University Thursday and SIU Edwardsville Saturday with a 7:30 p.m. tipoff each night.
The USI-Lindenwood contest is being presented by Banterra Bank, while the USI Homecoming game versus SIUE is being presented by Old National Bank. Fans attending the USI-SIUE showdown also will receive a Penn Station coupon.
Both games are scheduled to be streamed on ESPN+. All USI games are aired live on

The Screaming Eagles (5-15, 2-8 OVC) have split their last four games, including the two last week. USI started last week's action with a 59-51 loss to Eastern Illinois, but bounced back to defeat Western Illinois, 96-64. The Eagles had their offense on display versus WIU, featuring six players in double-digits for the first time this season.

Amaree Brown led the Eagles last week with 14.0 points per contest. Senior guard
Ismail Habib followed with 12.0 points per game, while senior guard
Cardell Bailey and senior guard/forward
Steven Clay posted 11.5 points and 11.0 points per contest, respectively. Junior forward
Tolu Samuels rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10.5 points and a team-best 8.5 rebounds per game.
For the season, Habib has been posting 16.3 points per game to lead USI in scoring. Senior guard
Cardell Bailey is second on the team in scoring with 14.3 points per contest this season.
Lindenwood (12-9, 6-4 OVC) started OVC action by winning four-straight, but has stumbled in the last few weeks, going 2-4, including a 96-86 loss to Tennessee State at home last week.
USI leads the all-time series, 8-3, but has lost the last two meetings with Lindenwood, including the series opener this year, 83-80, in St. Charles.
SIUE (13-8, 6-4 OVC) has been on a rolling, winning three-straight and seven of the last 10 games. The Cougars swept a home weekend last week, defeating Tennessee State, 68-55, and Tennessee Tech, 62-58.
USI leads the all-time series, 46-26 overall after falling at SIUE to start 2026, 59-54. The Eagles also hold a 24-8 lead in conference games (GLVC & OVC) since 1995. SIUE took the first meeting of this season on New Year's Day, 59-54, in Edwardsville.
