EVANSVILLE, Ind.- University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis (1-11, 1-3 OVC) failed to win a court on Saturday afternoon against the 2024 Ohio Valley Conference regular season champs, Southeast Missouri State, 7-0.
Doubles
USI came up short on all three doubles courts to a tough Redhawks squad. The freshman duo of
Rylie Wilkison and
Libby Banet battled their opponent in the two slot winning four sets, but coming up short (6-4).
Singles
Sophomore
Antonia Ferrarini matched up with one of the best players in the conference winning four sets in the first and three in the second match, but fell short (6-4, 6-4). The singles two, three, four, five, and six slots also struggled with the high powered Redhawks attack.
What's Next
USI looks to bounce back next Friday against Tennessee State University in Nashville. The Eagles have three regular season matches left against TSU, Kentucky Wesleyan College, and Lindenwood University for senior day.
