Rylie Wilkison battled hard against the Leathernecks' number three duo, taking the match to a tiebreaker, but fell 7-6 (7-5).

Singles
USI managed to snag two points in singles matches, the first with Ferrarini in the number-one singles. She dominated her matchup coming out victorious 6-0, 6-3 to open singles play. The Eagles then faltered in the three and four singles, before Davidoff picked up the team's second point (6-4, 6-3) in the number two singles match. Western Illinois clinched the match after taking the number five duo game 6-0, 6-0.
