EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana Cheer Team will hold the first of three College Prep and Recruitment clinics Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Screaming Eagles Arena. There also will be clinics held February 25 (10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and March 3 (10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.).

The first (2/11) and second (2/25) clinics are for all high school age athletics and college students interested in the USI Cheer Team program. There will be a $30 registration fee due at check in along with a signed waiver.

The third clinic (3/3) is for all high school juniors, seniors and college students interested in the USI Cheer Team program. Once again, there will be a $30 registration fee due at check in along with a signed waiver.

If clinic attendance is not possible, videos will be accepted for evaluation. Videos must be received by email by March 8th, 2024 . Late videos will not be considered.

Videos must be kept under three minutes in length and all skills current (August 2023 – now). Video submissions must be sent to Head Coach Megan Ringer (mfmurphy@usi.edu).
 
All 2024 high school seniors, current USI students and 2024 transfer students that are interested in USI Cheer must attend a recruitment clinic to be evaluated as the first step of the tryout process. After evaluation, student athletes will receive feedback and can receive an invitation to the in-person tryout, which are at a date to be announced in April.
