EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis (1-5) is swept by Austin Peay State University at the Evansville Tennis Center Saturday evening. 
 
Doubles: The Screaming Eagles were close to getting a win in doubles play but came up short. Freshmen duo Sofia Davidoff (Lagny-sur-Marne, France)/Antonia Ferrarini (Caxias do Sul, Brazil) fell 6-4 at number one while freshman Anais Negrail (Maisons-Alfort, France)/junior Madison Windham (Clarksville, Tennessee) combination went unfinished at number three but was close to a comeback while trailing 6-5.
 
Singles: USI could not muster a win in singles competition, dropping all six matchups.
 
NEXT UP FOR THE EAGLES:
The Eagles take a break until their next match at the Evansville Tennis Center. USI will host IUPUI on March 1 before battling Northern Kentucky University on March 3.
