EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis (3-8) fell in its first home match since February 24, losing to Saint Louis University, 4-0. The Screaming Eagles have now lost four straight matches.
Doubles: USI did not claim a point in doubles play. The junior combination of
Lauren Rowe (Terre Haute, Indiana)/
Rachel McCorkle (Tulsa, Oklahoma) knotted up their doubles competitors at 3-3 before it was deemed unfinished.
Singles: The Eagles dropped singles numbers one, three, and four to allow the Billikens to capture the 4-0 match victory.
NEXT UP FOR THE EAGLES:
The Eagles are back on the road next weekend when they begin Ohio Valley Conference play. USI will face Western Kentucky University on Friday before challenging Eastern Illinois University for its first conference match of 2023. USI is 2-4 against the Hilltoppers and 0-3 against the Panthers all time.
