LEBANON, Ill.--- University of Southern Indiana Men's Tennis (7-4, 2-1 GLVC) was just edged out in their Great Lakes Valley Conference match this afternoon to the McKendree University (6-5, 4-4 GLVC), 4-3 at Triad High School.
DOUBLES: The Screaming Eagles came out right away notching a No. 3 doubles victory thanks to the senior/sophomore pairing of Kooper Falkenstein and Preston Cameron. The Bearcats took the No. 1 and No. 2 matches, taking doubles point.
SINGLES: Senior Spencer Blandford started off the singles play with a nice No. 6 single-sets victory.
Sophomore Lucas Sakamaki picked up his 11th victory of the season in the No. 5 straight-sets to give the Eagles a 2-1 team advantage.
Junior Marvin Kromer extended USI's lead by claiming the No. 4 singles in a tiebreaker ultimately in the last set, 6-1.
The Bearcats then grabbed all three of the No.1, 2, 3 matches to come back and win the match.
