EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Men's Soccer lost a 2-0 decision to Drury University to conclude its homestand Sunday afternoon at Strassweg Field. The Screaming Eagles have a 4-4-1 record at the end of today's action, while Drury is 6-3-0 this season.
USI fell behind in the opening half as Drury scored 4:28 into the contest. The Panthers would hold the 1-0 lead until 56:22 when they sealed the 2-0 victory with their second tally of the game.
Drury had command of the contest with a 17-11 lead in shots, while USI held a slight edge in corner kicks, 4-3.

USI hit the road next week with visits to Missouri University of Science & Technology Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Maryville University Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Missouri S&T has the advantage over USI in the all-time series, 15-12-3, but USI has dominated the last three match-ups, including a 6-0 win at Strassweg Field in 2019. USI leads the all-time series with Maryville, 9-2-0, and a small advantage in the last five meetings, 3-2-0, after losing at home in overtime in 2019, 2-1.
