EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Men's Soccer comes home to Strassweg Field this weekend when it hosts Southwest Baptist University Friday and Drury University Saturday. Kick off Friday is slated for 5 p.m., while the start time Sunday is noon.
 
The Screaming Eagles are 3-3-1 overall this spring and tied for seventh in the GLVC Point Standings. USI, which is 3-1-1 after starting the year 0-2-0, is led by sophomore forward Zach Barton with 10 points on five goals.
 
Southwest Baptist enters Friday evening's game tied with USI and Missouri University of Science & Technology with 10 points and 3-3-1 marks. The Bearcats started the year with a tie before alternating losses and wins over the last six matches.
 
The Eagles lead the all-time series with Southwest Baptist University, 2-0-0, after winning the first match-up in GLVC action on the road in 2019, 3-1. The first USI victory over SBU was in 1999 when the Eagles captured a 3-0 road win.

Drury, which visits McKendree University Friday before coming to Strassweg Field, is fifth in the GLVC standings with 12 points and a 4-3-0 record. The Panthers swept its matches last week to get over the .500 mark this spring.
 
USI trails in the all-time series with Drury, 12-3-2, but is even with the Panthers over the last five matches, 2-2-1. The Eagles lost the last meeting with the Panthers in 2019, 4-0, on the road
 
USI Athletics has implemented a spectator policy in 2021 due to COVID-19. For the safety and well-being of the players, coaches, and officials, the following guidelines have set in place:

• Attendance is limited to two pre-approved guests per USI student-athlete.

• Masks/face coverings for entry into the facility and must be worn at all times.

• Social distancing must be observed at all times.
