EVANSVILLE, Ind. – UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN INDIANA MEN'S BASKETBALL IS PLAYING AT HOME THIS WEEK!
After playing seven of eight on the road with four home dates postponed due to COVID-19 over the last six weeks, USI is slated for a three-game homestand at Screaming Eagles Arena. The homestand starts Wednesday when the Screaming Eagles host Quincy University for a 5 p.m. game that was originally scheduled for January 28.
USI returns to the regular schedule Saturday when Drury University visits for a 3:15 p.m. contest before finishing the homestand Monday when Truman State comes in for a rescheduled game at 3 p.m. Truman State was originally slated to visit USI on January 30.
The calendar has USI returning to the road next week for the final two scheduled road games of 2020-21 with visits to Missouri University of Science & Technology February 18 and Maryville University February 20.

USI Men's Basketball vs. Quincy and Drury and Truman State Quick Notes:
Eagles sweep road trip; extends winning streak to five. USI completed a road trip sweep and extended its winning streak to a season-best five last week. The Screaming Eagles returned from its "COVID-19 pause" with a 78-71 victory at William Jewell College and a 67-57 win over Rockhurst University. Senior forward

USI in first in GLVC East. The Eagles starts the week in the top spot of the GLVC East Division by a four games and is second in the GLVC Point Rating System.

Quincy in 2020-21. Quincy saw its record go to 5-11 after defeating the University of Illinois Springfield, 75-64, Saturday on the road.
USI vs. Quincy. USI leads the all-time series with Quincy, 34-10 overall and 32-8 in league play since the Hawks joined the GLVC in 2011-12. USI won the first meeting of 2020-21 versus Quincy on the road, 83-77.

Drury in 2020-21. The Panthers of Drury are 7-8 overall in 2020-21 and has won its last two games. Drury is slated to visit Rockhurst University Tuesday and McKendree University Thursday becoming to Screaming Eagles Arena.
USI vs. Drury. The all-time series has USI and Drury tied, 12-12 overall and 9-9 in conference action. The Eagles knotted the series up last year with an 86-82 victory at Screaming Eagles Arena. Senior forward

Truman State in 2020-21. The Bulldogs of Truman State University starts this week with a GLVC-best 12-1 record. Truman State, which has won seven-straight to start this week, is scheduled to play the University of Illinois Springfield Thursday and Quincy University Saturday before coming to visit USI.
USI vs. Truman State. Despite a 76-69 loss to Truman in January, USI holds a 7-3 overall advantage in the all-time series, 6-2 in GLVC action. The Eagles, who let a 12-point first half lead slip away in the second half, were led by senior guard
