EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Soccer comes home to Strassweg Field hoping to stay on track after getting a split last weekend on the road. The Screaming Eagles are set to host Rockhurst University (3-5-2, 2-2-2 GLVC) Friday at 7:30 p.m. and William Jewell College (0-9-1, 0-7-0 GLVC) Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

USI Women's Soccer Week 6 Notes:
USI earns a split on the road: USI earned a hard-fought split on the road last weekend, losing in overtime to Truman State University, 2-1, and bouncing back to defeat Quincy University, 3-2. Freshman midfielder
Avery Schone (Galena, Ohio) scored the lone goal versus Truman, while sophomore midfielder
Jill DiTusa (St. Charles, Missouri) and senior forward
Katlyn Andres (Louisville, Kentucky) had two goals and one goal, respectively, versus Quincy.
For the season: Sophomore midfielder
Jill DiTusa leads the Eagles in scoring with six points on three goals.
Lintner between the posts: Freshman goalkeeper
Zoe Lintner (Wildwood, Missouri) has made an impact on the Eagles after starting the last three matches. Lintner has a 1.24 goals against average with a 1-1-1 record, including a shutout. She also has made eight saves in three matches.
Schoenstein is second all-time at USI: Head Coach
Eric Schoenstein is second all-time at USI with a 56-34-14 mark in five-plus years at the helm of the Eagles. He has led the Eagles to their only GLVC regular season and tournament championships, along with the program's second trip to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
Rockhurst in 2021: The Hawks of Rockhurst are winless in the last three matches and went 0-1-1 last weekend at home. Rockhurst tied the University of Missouri-St. Louis, 1-1, in double-overtime and lost to Lindenwood University, 1-0, in overtime last weekend.
USI versus Rockhurst: The Hawks hold a 14-4-2 series lead over the Eagles after splitting two matches last spring. Rockhurst won the regular season meeting in Kansas City, 2-1, while USI took the GLVC Tournament match-up in Evansville, 3-1.
William Jewell in 2021: The Cardinals of William Jewell are still in search of their first win of the season, going winless in the first 10 matches of the year. William Jewell visits the University of Indianapolis Friday before coming to Strassweg Field.
USI versus William Jewell: USI maintains a 6-4-0 series lead over William Jewell since the Cardinals joined the GLVC in 2011 and has won the last four matchups, including last spring's 2-0 win in Liberty.
